Welcome
This is the web log of Brooklyn and Marisa's New Zealand adventure. We decided to start this blog so that our friends could follow our adventures and see the best of our photos.
New Zealand is an incredible place and we intend to explore as much as possible. We are currently living in Christchurch so we will start with the South Island with the occasional North Island trip to visit friends of Marisa who live there..
We started this blog in December of 2003 so there isn't much here yet. If you're a friend looking to share our adventure or if you just found these pages through a search engine please enjoy them and feel free to leave comments on our Feedback page. We would really love to hear your opinions, requests, and touring suggestions.
We have decided, for the time being, to divide this site into time units with seasons at the top of the page and months on the left. We may change this or add to it. For example we would like to be able to navigate to Lord of the Rings sites that we visit or to be able to click on a map and find all our explorations in that area. For now, since we've only just begun, this navigation will have to do. For our northern hemisphere friends remember our summer is December though Febraury.
